Pennies is built on a simple idea: the people who generate the traffic should share in the value it creates. We display banner and sidebar ads on our homepage (separate from the search ads Google shows on its results page), and split that display ad revenue 50/50 with our users.
We're not reinventing search. Google still powers the results you see. We're just changing who gets paid for your attention — and making sure you're one of them.

Who actually does the searching?
Google. When you search on Pennies, your query is sent to Google and you see Google's full results page. We only run the homepage — nothing else.
How exactly do I earn money?
Pennies displays display ads — banners and sidebars — on the homepage, powered by Google AdSense. Advertisers pay for those placements. We keep 50% to run the site and pass the other 50% to you. This is separate from the search ads Google shows on its own results page, which we have no involvement in.
Do I need to click on ads?
No. You earn simply from the ads being shown alongside your search. You never need to click on anything you don't genuinely want to.
How do I get paid?
Once you've accumulated earnings, you can withdraw to your PayPal account at any time. Payouts are processed within a few business days.
