Pennies uses Google to power search results. When you submit a search, your query is sent to Google and you are redirected to Google's search results page. Google's own privacy policy governs any data collected on their platform. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy.
We use Google AdSense to display display advertisements (banner and sidebar ads) on the Pennies homepage. These are separate from the search ads shown on Google's results page, which are served and controlled entirely by Google. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
๐ก Revenue sharing: Pennies shares 50% of net display ad revenue generated from your sessions with you. This refers only to the banner and sidebar ads shown on the Pennies homepage โ not the search ads shown by Google on its results page. We track impressions and clicks associated with your session to calculate your earnings. This data is used solely for payout calculation and internal reporting.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Search logs used for earnings calculations are retained for a minimum of 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
Pennies is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

As a small independent operator, Pennies does not currently have a registered legal entity address beyond the contact email above. Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. In the EU, you may contact the data protection authority in your country of residence.
International Data Transfers: Pennies uses Supabase (infrastructure hosted on AWS in the US) and Google services (AdSense, Analytics), which involve transferring data outside the EEA/UK. These transfers are made on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or equivalent mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR. By using Pennies, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred internationally for these purposes.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
